Nigerian music star, Davido real name David Adeleke has caused a stir online after he revealed that he listens to the songs of gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo.
Davido took to his Twitter page on Sunday, January 31 to reveal that he has been listening to Mercy Chinwo songs all morning. He described her as an amazing singer whose songs lift up his soul. The Jowo Crooner also gave thanks to God.
This is coming few weeks after he revealed that he listens to clergyman Joel Osteen and millions of fans commended him for it.
“Mercy Chinwo all morning ! She’s amazing !!! Lifts up my soul!! Thank you Jesus ??”
This tweet has generated sparks online as thousands of Nigerians have continued to react to it. Many have testified to the awesomeness of Chinwo’s songs. Some have however criticised him for ‘claiming to be a Christian’
