AmbeDiSing, a singer from Cameroon, has criticized his fellow citizens for favoring Nigerian music above other genres in their nightclubs.

Ambe said on Facebook that he had noticed that most Nigerian clubs in the US played 95% Nigerian music, but that when he went back to Cameroon, he saw that his people also primarily played Nigerian music in their clubs.

He questioned why this was the case and urged the DJs to play Cameroonian music in their clubs rather than Nigerian music.

He added: “Y’all cannot be spending all that Cameroonian sweat on Nigerian music while Nigerians spend their Nigerian sweat on Nigerian music… Do the maths oh.”
