The Audio Visual Rights Society honored veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs and his wife Joke Silva with honorary awards.
On her Instagram page, actress Monalisa Chinda posted the happy news along with images and videos from the celebration.

Watching Olu Jacob and his wife receive the awards of honor, according to Monalisa, caused a powerful wave of emotion in her.

She emphasized how lovely the occasion was and prayed for the seasoned actor.

She described the day when the board of directors of the Audio Visual Rights Society presented Uncle Olu Jacobs and Aunty Joke Jacobs with honors at the Glover Memorial Hall on Lagos Island: “That moment when I felt a stirring flood of emotions.

It was stunning. Godspeed to Uncle Olu. For many more years, sir. @avrsnigeria our president @mahmoodalibalogun God’s blessings on all that you do, sir.

Funny Silva Veteran Nollywood actor from Belongs To Old School, Patrick Doyle, has praised Joke Silva for the way she has taken care of her ailing husband, Olu Jacobs.

Patrick claimed in the lengthy Facebook post that Joke does not subscribe to the misguided theory that wives promise their husbands that if they are committed and faithful to them in their youth, they will treat them well in old age.

The actor asserted that Joke would have treated her spouse just as lovingly and devotedly even if he had been a cheater and batterer.

He claimed that Joke belonged to the old school where doing the right thing is not dependant on reciprocity and would not use her husband’s fragility to her advantage by torturing him.
