On Wednesday, lawyers for Bounty Killer will offer a defense in the High Court of Justice in London, United Kingdom, in opposition to a countersuit filed by lawyers for British-born Othman Mukhlis and his business Jamdown Music Limited.
Attorney at law Mike Shepherd, a partner at Cadence Solicitors LLP in London, England, informed the Jamaica Observer that the defense was expected this Wednesday.

We would be pleased to make a statement after the defense has been served, Shepherd added.
The dancehall deejay initially filed a lawsuit in the UK court in June, asserting that Mukhlis and Jamdown Music Limited owed him more than £325,000 (J$60 million) in royalties.
Following the filing of the lawsuit, the legal team for Mukhlis filed a counterclaim, to which the defense team for Bounty Killer has responded.
Jamdown Music Limited, a private limited company in the UK, was established in September 1997. Its primary area of business, as stated on its website, is artistic production. Rodney Price, sometimes known as Bounty Killer, grew raised in Seaview Gardens. Dancehall deejay with Grammy nominations, he is well-known for songs like Fed Up, Can’t Believe My Eyes, and Book, Book, Book.
