Paul Pogba, the France and Juventus midfielder, claims he has been the subject of extortion attempts by a ring that includes one of his siblings. The affair, which is being investigated by French authorities, became public over the weekend when his older brother Mathias Pogba posted a video on YouTube promising “big disclosures” about the Juventus player.
Mathias, who is also a footballer, states in the video that the public needs to “know certain facts in order to determine in full knowledge if Paul Pogba truly deserves appreciation, respect, his place in the French team, if he is a trustworthy person.”
According to the 29-year-lawyers, old’s the video came in addition to threats and extortion efforts by an organized gang, and French and Italian officials were notified a month ago.
