Bright Okpocha, often known as Basketmouth, a well-known stand-up comedian, has commented on the new naira notes that were introduced in Abuja.
The newly designed N200, N500, and N1000 notes were unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari prior to the start of the Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) weekly meeting at the State House.
Nigeria issues new Naira notes to combat fake currency
Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and a few cabinet officials stood alongside Buhari as he unveiled the revised N1,000, N500, and N200 notes. The old Naira notes will no longer be accepted as legal money starting on February 1, 2023, while the new ones will start to be accepted on December 15.
Nigeria will be revamping some of her currency notes for the first time in 19 years.
The only constant in life is change, according to Basketmouth, who recently posted four different shades of his photo to his Instagram page.
