The Ghana Air Force is saddened to announce the untimely passing of Flight Sergeant (F/SGT) Armah Nii Okai Mensah Alfred, who served as the Supernumerary for the Air Force Male Contingent during the 67th Independence Day Parade in Koforidua, Eastern Region.

The tragic incident occurred at Koforidua Government Hospital, where F/Sgt Armah was receiving medical attention after collapsing during the parade at Koforidua Youth Resource Centre on March 6, 2024.

Described as diligent, respectful, and professional, F/Sgt Armah was known for his dedication and expertise in his career. The Air Force, in a statement, expressed deep sympathy to all affected by this loss, especially the family of the deceased.
