A Kenyan court has authorized police to detain two suspects for 21 days in connection with the murder of British national Campbell Scott. The 58-year-old’s body was found in a bag on February 22, shortly after he arrived in Kenya for a conference.

According to authorities, Scott was last seen leaving his hotel with an unidentified man before taking a taxi to a residential area in Nairobi. His body was later discovered in a remote location, approximately 110 kilometers from the capital.

A taxi driver linked to the case remains in custody and is assisting with the investigation. Meanwhile, an autopsy did not yield conclusive results, and toxicology tests are still underway. The court has set the next hearing for March 24.
