Late Kumawood actor, Abass Nurudeen aka Blinkz’s girlfriend, Nana Yaa Dankwah says her boyfriend did not benefit from the movie industry since he became a member in 1992.
The 28-year-old lady, Nana Yaa in a conversation with Zionfelix disclosed that her late boyfriend Abass has been in the movie industry for 26 years before his death on November 7 this year.
Nana Yaa during the conversation also said the late movie actor started as a set designer and makeup artiste after Daniel Adeleye nurtured him to be a pro in those fields.
She also mentioned that Abass who left behind a 6-year-old boy has really fought for the movie industry.
“I remember he once told me that he could carry a generator for hours so that the sound would not disturb the shoot”.
Nana Yaa also was asked if her boyfriend made a living out of the movie business before he passed on, the young lady replied with a big NO. She hurriedly added that “he did not make anything out of the movie business.”
She also disclosed that Abass use to work at a lorry station before his death because the movie industry was not paying.
