Reports online suggest that Fella Makafui has moved out of the home she shared with her husband and child. This information was revealed in a Facebook post by media personality Caleb Nii Boye.

Boye cautioned against unfounded accusations toward Fella’s mother, urging people to stop accusing her of practicing juju in her daughter’s marital home. “Fella has packed out of the house, but those who see her mum and accuse her of doing juju in her in-law’s house should stop it. Not cool,” his post read.

Additionally, videos showing a large truck outside the property, presumably for moving belongings, have circulated on various blogs.

Before this development, Fella and Medikal’s living arrangements during their divorce proceedings had already sparked controversy. Medikal demanded that Fella’s cousin, who had been living in their house for over two years, leave the premises, further intensifying their dispute.

In response, Fella involved the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate Medikal, escalating their conflict. The ownership of the residence has also become a contentious issue. Medikal claims he is the sole financial provider for the property but included Fella’s name for their daughter’s benefit. Fella, however, disputes this, citing her contributions during their marriage and plans to substantiate her claims in court.

Documents related to their land and house have surfaced on social media, prompting the Nungua Stool to step in and verify the authenticity of their claims.

In a press statement dated May 18, 2024, Fella Makafui announced the amicable end of her marriage to Medikal. She expressed disappointment over his public airing of grievances, which she claims has damaged her reputation. The statement confirmed the dissolution of their four-year marriage, stating the decision was made months earlier and was awaiting customary divorce rites.

Fella also affirmed her decision to pursue legal action to ensure her and her daughter’s safety and to regulate co-parenting duties with Medikal according to the law.
