According to American television star Alani Nicole, better known by her stage name La La Anthony, African males are paying for the opulent lifestyles of women who live abroad.
There is a long list of ladies who have been sponsored on La La’s account, mostly affluent African males from Ghana and other African nations.
She revealed how these women praise their African sponsors, who love to spend on them.
“Girls always say the guys over there (Ghana) spend a lot…let me tell you something, you’re not girls so you don’t know what’s going on out there. Usually, a lot of girls I talk to, not all but a lot have an African sponsor…it might not be the person that is out and all about but somewhere in their roster, there’s an African sponsor,” Lala alleged.
The actress made this admission earlier this week when discussing her thoughts on the well-liked film “Girls Trip” sequel, which is set in Ghana, West Africa. “The Breakfast Club” was hosted by DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God.
The original cast members—Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish—will return for Girls Trip 2.
La La, who had nothing but good things to say about Ghana, made a remark on how popular it had become as a Christmas vacation spot.
“I love the idea of sending ‘Girls Trip’ to Ghana because it allows people who might never have the experience of going there to see what it is like. Experience the culture through the movie and just the incredible cast…for Christmas, it is all I hear about, Ghana, Ghana,” said La La.
